After leaving the rest of the group we travelled to Marrakech for a couple of days to relax in luxury!! A pretty straight forward drive apart from as we got near the city ... There was a coach which was going to stop very close to where we wanted to go so I decided to follow it. After some traffic lights went green the coach pulled away and I followed, however I then got pulled over by the police!! My french is useless unless I want to order a beer or a coffee so I had no idea what he was saying, he had a little english and was telling me I jumped a red light. I protested that the light was green and I followed the coach ... Hazel, whose french is pretty good, was keeping very quiet! Eventualy he gave up and let me off, it turns out (Hazel translated afterwards!) there were two sets of lights and the coach jumped the second set and I followed him through!

We then proceeded into the city walls and found oursleves driving down a street that was getting narrower and narrower! With the help of a few locals we managed a 3 point turn and found a place to park the car and with the help of another friendly local we found the hotel. Returning the car was easy, we called Mouriad and he came and collected it 20 minutes later. There was no problem with the state of the car, he just grinned and said "You enjoyed the Sahara then" :o)
