After the rough camping it was nice to be in a well equiped hotel in Zagora, air con, outside bar, swimming pool ... very nice :o) The vehicles
were whisked off by the mechanic to fix broken shock absorbers and give them all a check over before heading off into the desert. we wandered into
town from the hotel with a guy who attached himself to us and was going anyway ... obviously we had to go via his families shop! After some mint tea
and a small purchase of some postcards we went for some lunch. After walking back through the palmary and getting a little lost it was time for some
quad bike action! Off through the edge of the desert for an hour, was great fun (apart from Robbies quad breaking down in the middle of nowhere!).
Once back at the hotel it was straight onto camels for a trek into another edge of the desert! After all the hard days activities it was a slow
barbequed whole lamb for dinner :o) ... with a few beers around the pool afterwards.
